Sports Nutrition

The rigours of training and competing requires special attention to nutrition choices and timing.

For example the needs of a triathalon competitor are quite different from a figure skater, swimmer or a hockey or football player.

Training regiments, competition/game schedules and life habits must all be taken into account.

At the Optimum Health Centre, our Registered Dietitian, Matt Kadey will personally consult with you to determine your nutritional requirements and create a plan that will help maximize your results.

Matt earned a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Guelph and Masters Degree in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Florida State University

He is an avid cyclist and regular contributor to a variety of publications including Men's Health, Muscle & Fitness and Women's Health and Fitness.
