Optimum Health Choices Inc. - Contest Rules & Regulations

Thank you for participating in one of our in-store or online giveaways! We are committed to ensuring our contests are fair, fun, and compliant with all applicable Canadian laws. Please review the following official rules and eligibility guidelines.

 

1. Contest Sponsor

All contests and giveaways are sponsored and administered by Optimum Health Choices Inc., headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

2. Eligibility

  • Open to legal residents of Canada, age 18 or older, unless otherwise specified.
  • Employees of Optimum Health Choices Inc. and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.
  • One entry per person per day unless explicitly stated otherwise in the specific contest promotion.

3. No Purchase Necessary

  • No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
  • For in-store contests where slips are drawn, entrants may participate by visiting the location during the posted contest period.
  • Alternate entry is available via email: send your full name, phone number, and the answer to the following skill-testing question: 8 × 2 + 3 – 5 = ? to hello@optimumhealth.ca during the active contest period. Use the subject line "Contest Entry."

4. How to Enter

Entry methods and deadlines will be clearly outlined in-store, on signage, or via promotional materials for each contest. Entries must be submitted during the designated promotional period.

5. Prizes

  • Prizes may vary per contest and will be clearly described in promotional materials.
  • Approximate retail value (ARV) will be provided where possible.
  • Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Substitution of prizes is not permitted, except by Optimum Health, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original prize is unavailable.

6. Odds of Winning

  • Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received during the contest period.
  • For instant-win draws, prize-winning slips are randomly mixed and distributed fairly among non-prize coupons.

7. Claiming Prizes

  • Winners must correctly answer a skill-testing question to claim their prize.
  • Some prizes may require proof of identity.
  • Winners must claim their prize in-store before the date specified in the promotional materials, or the prize may be forfeited.

8. Publicity & Privacy

  • By entering, participants agree to allow Optimum Health Choices Inc. to contact them via phone or email regarding contest administration.
  • Personal information will not be shared or sold to third parties.
  • Consent will be requested before sharing any winner's name or likeness for promotional purposes.

9. General Conditions

Optimum Health Choices Inc. reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend any contest if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity of the promotion. We are not responsible for late, lost, or misdirected entries.
