AHCC® is a natural compound extracted from shiitake mushrooms. It was developed in Japan in 1989 and has since been used on over 100,000 patients, and has been studied in over 50 human clinical trials.
AHCC is used alongside chemotherapy treatments in many Japanese hospitals for its immune supportive effects. The majority of studies have shown reduced side effects, increased quality of life and improved survival rates. Patients taking AHCC reported less nausea, vomiting and hair loss, and AHCC improved their body weight and appetite during chemotherapy. Recommended Use: Shiitake mushrooms mycelia extract.
Recommended Dose: Adult Dosage. Take 2 capsules daily, preferably without food, or as directed by a qualified health care practitioner.
Cautions & Warnings: Do not take if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you are allergic to corn. Nausea and diarrhea have been known to occur, in which case, discontinue use.
