Ancient and steadfast ~ Fenugreek has been cultivated for thousands of years, its name drawn from the Latin for “Greek hay,” a nod to its long presence around the Mediterranean. From there it spread through North Africa and West Asia, becoming a familiar plant in fields and kitchens alike.
The plant grows upright with delicate green leaves and slender pods that hold its angular, amber-hued seeds. Once dried, the seeds become hard and smooth, carrying a gently nutty scent with faint sweetness. When steeped, they lend the cup a warm golden hue and a rounded, grain-like taste with subtle maple notes.

- Quick Brew Directions: Pour freshly boiled water over tea bags in your chosen mug, cover, and let steep 3 to 5 minutes to taste.
- Full Strength (infusion) Directions: Fenugreek seed makes the best tea when exposed to high temperatures for only a short period of time. Be sure that your water is at a rolling boil when you pour it over your tea bags. Use one tea bag per cup of boiling water, cover and steep for 7-12 minutes.
