Natural Factors Oil of Oregano combines oregano and vitamin E as an antioxidant for the maintenance of good health. Oregano has one of the highest antioxidant capacities of aromatic herbs. Numerous studies have associated its benefits with the compounds carvacrol, thymol, and rosmarinic acid. By working to scavenge free radicals, these key active compounds help counteract oxidation within the body.

Oil of Oregano is made from wild-crafted Mediterranean oregano, hand-harvested from theOriganum vulgare plant. To maintain the purity and concentration of its active compounds, the leaves are gently steam-distilled without the use of chemicals. Each softgel contains 180 mg of organic oil of oregano blended in a 1:4 ratio with organic, cold-pressed, extra virgin olive oil for enhanced absorption. This formula is guaranteed to contain at least 80% carvacrol, the highest naturally occurring carvacrol content.

Recommended dose: Recommended adult dose: 1 softgel daily with food or as directed by a health care practitioner. Take a few hours before or after taking supplements containing iron, zinc, calcium, or copper.
Cautions & Warnings: Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have hypersensitivity or are allergic to herbs in the Lamiaceae family. Discontinue use if you experience gastrointestinal upset. Keep out of the reach of children.
