Pancreatin is a combination of digestive enzymes normally produced by the pancreas and are important in the digestion of fats, proteins, and sugars.
Pancreatin is used to replace digestive enzymes when the pancreas does not produce enough on its own. Certain medical conditions can cause this lack of enzymes.

Recommended Use: Each capsule contains a 4× concentrate of pancreatic enzymes, delivering 1,300 mg activity of lipase, protease, and amylase to support the pancreatic production of digestive enzymes.
Recommended Dose: Adults: Take 1 capsule two to four times daily with food or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Take with or immediately before a meal/food. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew. Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks or for prolonged use. Use the smallest effective dose which controls symptoms.
Cautions & Warnings: Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, or sugar. Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you have diabetes.
Known Adverse Reactions: Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain/epigastric pain and/or heartburn have been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner.
Contra-Indications: Do not use if you are sensitive to pancreatic enzymes or to pork proteins.
