Reaching and rambling, Passionflower grows on climbing tendrils that reach for sun and support, opening into intricate blooms with a crown of fine filaments. Native to the Americas and long known in parts of South America as maracujá, it later spread widely as botanists and growers carried living plants and cuttings across oceans. Over time, different species of Passionflower found homes in gardens and warmer landscapes well beyond their original range.

In the cup, Passionflower brews a pale, straw-gold hue with a gentle green note. The aroma is soft and lightly grassy, and the taste is mild, clean, and slightly earthy, with a smooth mouthfeel that makes it easy to sip on its own or pair with other botanicals.

Recommended Use: About Passion Flower - This tea has a mild, grassy taste with subtle floral notes and a clean, gentle finish. When brewed, it produces a light, soothing infusion. Certified organic for purity and quality.

Recommended Dose: Use spring or filtered water. Good water is an essential part of brewing a great cup of tea. Relax. Some of the most enjoyable aspects of tea are the calmness and ritual that surround it. Take some time for tea!

  • Quick Brew Directions: Pour freshly boiled water over tea bags in your chosen mug, cover, and let steep 3 to 5 minutes to taste.
  • Full Strength (infusion) Directions: Passionflower makes the best tea when exposed to high temperatures for only a short period of time. Be sure that your water is at a rolling boil when you pour it over your tea bags. Use one tea bag per cup of boiling water, cover and steep for 7 to 10 minutes.

Ingredients: Organic Passion Flower (Passiflora incarnata).
