Saccharomyces boulardii is a beneficial, non-pathogenic, non-colonizing species of yeast. It has been clinically recognized for its effectiveness in reducing the symptoms of antibiotic-associated diarrhea. Saccharomyces boulardii significantly reduces both the risk and the duration of diarrhea. Recommended Use: Protects the intestinal tract from anitbiotics.
Recommended Dose: Take one capsule three times daily in between meals, or as directed by a qualified health care practitioner. Do not crush, mix or blend capsules. Swallow capsule whole.
Cautions & Warnings: Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g., diarrhea) occur, worsen or persist beyond three days. Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g., AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment). Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain.
