The thyroid gland produces thyroid hormones, T3 and T4. These are important in metabolism, energy production, and more. Improper gland functioning or feedback systems can cause some significant hormonal dysregulations. Hypothyroidism is a medical condition in which there is insufficient thyroid hormone production. Subclinical hypothyroidism, while less severe, still has detrimental effects which can include fatigue, weight gain, cardiovascular problems, oversensitivity to cold, dry skin, brittle nails, constipation, overall weakness and low mood.
Thyro Support™ is designed to support thyroid gland function, including the amino acid tyrosine, herbs Coleus forskohlii and Bacopa monnieri, and the essential minerals iodine, zinc, copper and selenium. The ingredients in Thyro Support™ provide the raw materials for the production of thyroid hormones. Since the thyroid is closely linked to the adrenal glands, those looking for adrenal support or who are under chronic stress can also benefit from supporting the thyroid.
While this product cannot replace any hormone replacement, it can offer gentle support to slightly underperforming but otherwise healthy thyroid glands. Please always discuss with your healthcare practitioner when adding or removing any hormone influencing products.
Recommended Use: Supports thyroid gland function.
Recommended Dose: Take one capsule three times daily with food, or as directed by a qualified health care practitioner. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications.
Cautions & Warnings: Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. May cause gastrointestinal disturbances such as epigastric burning sensation and nausea. Discontinue use if rash develops. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are following a low protein diet or for use beyond four weeks. This product contains a corn derived ingredient, do not use this product if you have an allergy.
