A free radical is an unstable molecule within the body. They are created through multiple factors including stress, pollutants, and poor diet and lifestyle choices. Free radicals can cause aging, disease, and tissue damage.
Antioxidants neutralize free radicals. They can be found in an array of fresh fruits and vegetables, which are not always attainable. When dietary intake or other factors fall short, we can benefit from an antioxidant supplement.
